After months of rumours, leaks and speculation Apple’s new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro have finally been unleashed on the world.
These all-new devices were unveiled earlier in the week at Apple’s keynote in Cupertino with them upgraded to include a faster A13 Bionic processor, more durable design and improved camera.
The iPhone 11 gets a new dual-lens rear snapper whilst the Pro and Pro Max both feature a triple-lens system.
Along with offering a wide-angle option and telephoto lens (iPhone 11 Pro only), there’s also a new Night Mode which allows you shoot photos in almost total darkness without needing a flash.
These are all welcome additions but there two extra bonuses that many have been waiting for.
If you buy the iPhone Pro or Pro Max you not only get that triple camera and improved Retina display but also a big boost to battery.
Apple is claiming that the iPhone 11 Pro will now last around four hours longer than its predecessor and the iPhone 11 Pro Max can keep going for an extra five hours.
Battery life is always something smartphone fans desperately want to see improved and it’s good to see this upgrade arriving on these latest devices.
However, the good news doesn’t stop there.
It seems the US firm has finally listened to its critics with the new Pro phones now shipping with a fast charger in the box.
This 18-watt power pack should mean you will be able to refill your new Apple device at much faster speeds.
This actually isn’t a new feature but, until now, you’d need to buy an improved charger to get the better refill times.
Speaking about the new devices, Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said: “iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the most powerful and advanced smartphones we have ever made.
“They are packed with sophisticated technology that pros can count on to get their work done, and for anyone who wants the very best device made, even if they are not a pro.”
“iPhone 11 Pro has the first triple-camera system in iPhone and is far and away the best camera we’ve ever made, it provides our customers with great range of creative control and advanced photo and video editing features in iOS 13. The Super Retina XDR is the brightest and most advanced display in iPhone and the A13 Bionic chip sets a new bar for smartphone performance and power efficiency.”
