ARSENAL star David Luiz received a DM from Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen after last month’s Facebook storm.
A fake post from a user pretending to be Christensen claimed hit out at Luiafter the Brazilian quit Stamford Bridge for the Emirates.
Sharing a picture of the two defenders together, the snap was captioned: “No player is bigger than the club.”
Chelsea quickly denied then post was from Christensen – with the Danish defender and Luiz close friends – after it went viral on social media.
Now it has emerged Christensen contacted Luiz himself to assure the Brazilian he had nothing to do with the post.
Reports claim the pair are still friends and have been unaffected by the fake post.
On leaving the Blues, Luiz revealed: “The cycle finished [at Chelsea]. It was a conversation between me and Chelsea and everybody.
“I had an opportunity to come to another big club. In my life, I’ve always liked to do some challenges.
“I’m not scared at all to try things.
I think not too many players would make this kind of move, they would maybe be scared, or something like that.
“I’m just trying to do big things in my life, so like I said, my cycle at Chelsea finished and now I’m excited to start a new chapter of my life here.”
Since joined Arsenal, Luiz has played three times in the Premier League – including a nightmare outing against Liverpool in a 3-1 defeat at Anfield.
