EE customers can now stream Spotify without it making a dent in their monthly data allowance.
The UK network has announced that it’s just added this streaming option to its EE Music Data Pass.
Until now, customers could use Apple Music, Deezer and Tidal as part of this benefit and Spotify being included will certainly be welcomed by those who enjoy listening to tracks via this service.
This audio boost is part of EE’s new Smart Plans, either as an inclusive Swappable Benefit for EE 4G and 5G Smart Plan customers or for purchase as a standalone Pass for £7.99 per month.
All EE Smart Plan customers get access to at least one Swappable Benefit and customers can also choose to purchase any of the benefits as an extra monthly addition should they wish.
Here are all of the options available as part of the Swappable Benefits:
Video Data Pass – This benefit allows customers to stream and download their favourite shows without impacting their data allowance. Online services included in this option are Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, BT Sport, TV Player and MTV Play, BBC iPlayer and YouTube
BT Sport App – Customers will have access to on-demand and live sport such as the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Gallagher Premiership Rugby, UFC and more – EE 5G customers, will be access to the HD HDR version of the BT Sport app – offering more vivid, life-like colour
Amazon Prime Video – Those who choose the Amazon Prime Video will have access to movies, original TV shows, live sport and documentaries on the go
Gamer’s Data Pass – This covers all a customer’s mobile data used on gaming apps: Pokémon Go, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, FIFA Mobile, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, as well as when streaming on Twitch.
This latest update comes as EE is still offering some limited-time deals on its SIM-only plans.
The UK network has released some offers which include a big 4G data boost meaning you get more time online without paying extra.
The cheapest of the deals start from £21 per month and includes 20GB of data, unlimited calls and texts plus you get download speeds of up to 60Mbps.
If 20GB doesn’t sound enough then there’s also another SIM-only plan which has been boosted from 30GB to 50GB for £24 per month.
Again you get those fast 4G speeds plus unlimited calls and texts.
Finally, there’s the biggest bundle in this sale with EE upping its 50GB plan to 80GB.
This package will set you back £27 per month and also features 60Mbps downloads plus unlimited calls and texts.
