Montrichard secures Watch manufacturing process on blockchain with iTRACE
iTRACE Technologies, Inc., a provider of secure anti-grey market and anti-counterfeit solutions, announced today the integration of 2DMI with watch manufacturing company Montrichard Group. With this integration, Montrichard is now delivering products to its customers secured with iTRACE 2DMI directly through its FINS just-in-time, lean manufacturing process.
By using iTRACE’s new cloud-based SaaS API, 2DMI security is delivered to Montrichard as an on-demand service, directly integrated into their manufacturing process through the 2DMI apps suite. This gives Montrichard the benefit of being a trusted supplier and partner to the brands they work with while bringing blockchain connectivity to the FINS application. FINS is the 1st Cloud ERP solution created specifically for the watch industry using lean inventory practices and micro-manufacturing, managed by an online portal customized for the watch brand.
Products secured with iTRACE 2DMI can be connected directly to any blockchain implementation creating a secure and irrefutable link between the actual product and the distributed ledger.
